Remove write protect from jad and jar of the wayfinder app by using A2Uploader). You will find it in TPA/Preset/System/AMS. (don't delete directly from here). Start your phone and delete Wayfinder from Applications.

Get Wayfinder 8 from the W995 Firmware/Java Extract from there http://topse.ru/files/cat423.html

Download lastest A2Uploader on page 59
http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=177034&start=870

Here are the instructions to use A2Uploader
http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=35439

Go to TPA/PRESET/SYSTEM/AMS
Rightclick on wayfinder_nav....jad/jar and select XXXX (I forgot which one removes read-only property, but you can figure it out yourself).

You can delete using A2upl but some files could remain. Anyway, to do that you still have to remove read-only property from the files.

What phone and firmware do you have? A2Uploader is not fully compatible with some firmware right now (firmwares having protection CID53) and it could be the reason it didn't work.
