Mine is broken too. Responding on wrong places. No way to calibrate it. Very bad quality, got broken after a year...

Touchscreen came to life..

My sony ericsson g900 took another fall and it is working 100%.. i cannot understand it!
I agree, the G900 is badly made when it comes to reliability/construciton. It`s not strong!!

From what height do you recommend dropping the phone and what surface should it land on?

If your calibration is messed up you can run the "setup guide" application in Settings -> General menu.
I'm only guessing the menu names in english since I dont have english menues... correct me if I'm wrong.

Mine stopped working but I searched for a guide to dismantle and cleaned under the screen (between the sreen and touchscreen part) and it worked no problem. If needed I could upload the guide (sony technicians guide, loads of stuff to read!) let me now.

I think it's totally opposite. The g900 is great phone in overall. You just have to take a little care about it and you should be fine.
