When I try to connect the phone using A2uploader it wont do it. The 'tree' on the right doesnt appear and the program gives very few info. I tried to identify phone, used filesystem tool, tried to flash and to use scripts, everything give the same message. Has anybody encountered the same problem? Also, where can I find ALL firmwares for this phone, not just a few versions of R1EA030?
I'm very new to modding so I searched a lot trough the internet but I havent been able to find much related to this issue. :/

A2
ChipID:E800,EMP protocol:0401

PHONE STATE: "RETAIL"
FLASH CID: 0053
Elapsed:6 secs.

I would appreciate some links for thorough tutorials for this phone and perhaps explanations of the terms used in the modding community Pleeeease dont tell me nothing can be done

Here it is a tutoria for flashing your phone:

Tutorial: Flashing A2 phones http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=181043

The program necessary is the A2 file access & flasher tool http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=177034

Firmwares and customs can be found in http://4shared.com, topse.ru, topsony.com, and google.

@tranced, thank you for reply but i guess its not that easy after all, at least not according to this site.

So far the best info I've found concerning my query. Lots of tutorials, lots of link for downloading programs for flashing. Ill try it all out tomorrow or maybe even tonight and post my results (if theres anyone interested)

hi, if ever you'll going to mod c901's camera just tweak the macro shot with flash fired. this is the only weakness the C901 cam has cause it eats up the whole picture, it's blinding. And I think c901's cam is great as it is. just work more on macro shot with flash fired. thanks

I havent managed to do absolutely anything. Tried the A2uploader according to tutorial, tried JDFlasher and I even tried XS++. I cant seem to anything with either tool.

If anybody knows of a software for download to flash C901 or where to find more firmwares other than 030 please post it here. Im hoping for Central Europe latest firmware. Right now its Midle East & North Africa... The only languages I can even read is english and french, the rest is either cyrillic and arrabic.

The c901 is an A2 phone and there's just one program for that phone and it's the one i mentioned before. xs++ is for A1 phones. Jdflasher is for A1 phones too.

You could also try the CDA trick: change your CDA region and let SEUS updates your phone.

When I try to connect the phone using A2uploader all I get is three lines:
ChipID:E800,EMP protocol:0401

PHONE STATE: "RETAIL"
FLASH CID: 0053
Elapsed:6 secs.

Ive seen some video tutorials and noticed that a 'tree' appears when the phone is connected. For me, it just doesnt happen. Ive learned how to modify CDA or even flashing, its just that I cant connect the phone properly.

Could it be the cable? Or improper driver installation (I used the one that comes with A2uploader)? Has anyone else encountered this kind of problem?
