Hey,
Every time I go onto "record sound" it shows the tape recorder, and the 0.5 seconds after that is plays the failure sound and stops. What is that, and how can I get it back to work?

No, I cannot recall that I changed anything. I know that something must have happened since it just stopped working. Then only thing is that I moved some themes around, from the memory to the memeory card.

Check either your phone's memory or your memory stick. You are probably running out of memory.
If it doesn't work try a master reset.

External: 3376 MB
A Master reset is "back to factory settings?" But that will delete my calendar, which cannot be lost right now …

Well in that case you can backup stuffs like that using MyPhoneExplorer.

I usually have all data on my back which backs it up to two external harddrives. But it is in a warranty case right now, so i only got my iBook, which does not run windows. But the iMac will be back in a couple days, so I can sync it again and do whatever I want with the phone.

Check for disk errors using your computer.

That only returnes this:
Volume „THETA“ check
** /dev/disk2s1
** Phase 1 - Preparing FAT
** Phase 2 - Checking Directories
** Phase 3 - Checking for Orphan Clusters
147 files, 3457792 KiB free (108056 clusters)
No error messages, so I guess it is fine …
But the problem remains, I just checked. When I try it without the memory card, it works, with the memory card, it does not work. Well, I guess it is the memory card then …

Use that command: chkdsk e: /f (where e is your drive letter)
The /f switch fixes any error found.
