This looks like the actual end of my relationship with Sony Ericsson.
5 times my C905 has stopped working.... FIVE TIMES!!! Someone phoned me, and I lost all my contact information, dialled/recieved and missed calls.
It's now saying it can't charge the battery because it's not a 'Sony Ericsson' battery, when I know damn well it is.
And to top it all off, it won't even let me reformat my phone. I press the 'C' button and insert the USB cable, but it always starts the phone into 'Mass storage' mode.
This is beyond a joke. Up yours, Sony Ericsson.

Phone going into mass storage mode because you have to reinstall the driver, or you have to use 2+5, or the cable is damaged.
You may even try another USB port and it should be ok.

Thank you for your recent order to repair your C905.
Following receipt of your C905, a qualified engineer conducted a detailed investigation and evaluation complying with all specifications as per Sony Ericsson.
During the inspection procedure the unit has been diagnosed as Un-Repairable under the Warranty of the Manufacturer

I have just recieved that email

"..un-repairable under the manufacturer warranty.."
which means warranty was voided.
did you lunion accidentally wet your phone?
perhaps maybe typed a message with a wet hand?
or was your c905 innards opened?

Why is that?... does it mean that they will give you a replacement?.... or does it mean that you're on your own? (hope not)...

I didn't get it wet to my knowledge, the keypad was lifting from the phone though, moisture may have got in?
I'd never open a phone, I haven't a clue what I am doing when it comes to that!

moisture inside the motherboard is one grounds for the warranty to be voided..
it can be that you answered a phone call while you are sweating profusely..
or whatever possible way that moisture or water got inside your c905..
