Well people here we go again with my forever changing mobile phones and being forever fussy. Anyway my recent Nokia 5530xm packed up on me only less than two weeks of having it. So I returned to Carphonewarehouse and said I either want another one or something else. So I ended up with not much choice so I went back to my old trusty c510. Now at the same time the guy serving me decided to see if I would pass again on a contract so I did and I now have a w995 black on Orange contract but its sim free. Wow I could not believe it and now I have a 2 Sony Ericsson phones with my second hand w705 sold to my brother. Bloody hell I am so happy and pleased with what I got today. My w995 is now my main phone and my still brand new not opened c510 as a spare phone. Cant believe my luck today and a nice welcome return to Sony Ericsson. Staying away from touch screen phones for a while. Will try posting some pics of my w995 soon though will need to take the pics with the c510. Guys and gals I am very happy and not changing again for a while. So I say lol.

Congrats on the W995. Trying to save up for a red one myself atm or might go for a silver C901. Can't decide which yet.

Yeah its a lovely phone and I was not expecting the 8 giga byte card and the amazing little speakers in the box. Very loud. Only thing I hate is where the lens is placed I keep putting finger prints on it. My slider is solid no movement will see how long that lasts. I found it strange I was not expecting to be excepted for the contract because not long ago Orange refused me. They were trying to offer me either a contract phone or a free Dell laptop. No chance not signing up to another mobile broadband rubbish. I have decided to keep my c510 as my spare phone just in case the w995 has to be repaired but it is insured. I am going to go for a long walk tomorrow and take some quality pics.

I got one two days ago, and i have to admit many of my learned SE devotees told me how good it was, and i failed to believe them, solid as a rock and really small for the functions on offer.

Yes it is its a fantastic phone. I only have one problem which is not major. When I first turn on the camera the first picture I take it takes a while to save it. After that its fine. Whats the latest firmware with this phone? Mine ends with 035. Thanks.

Hihi tried to edit my post that said : I thought you were going to buy a stylus?

With the question if you have gps turned on, so that could cause the delay. Pressing "post" removed my post, strange.

Lol yeah your crazy man. Well I shall look at the other threads for any known problems but I will sort it. I know how to update my phone. The led flash is pretty good on it at short distance.
