Hello guys, i'm new to this forum. I have been facing a lot of problems with my sony ericsson w910i. It switches off on its own like every hour! It is really irritating as it also happens in between calls. I firmware version is R1FA035 and i tried reflashing it to the same firmware using SEUS which is the latest firmware for this phone right now. But when i had bought my phone it had some old firmware version and didn't encounter this problem those times until i upgraded it to this latest version.
So i was just serching for some old version of firmware for the w910i, maybe that will solve the problem!
Or is it possible to flash the firmware of some other phone to mine?
Any help appreciated!
Cheers.

Hi
You can try to flash it using A2uploader and flasher tool. There is a tutorial in the sticky at the software forum.

Mine has R1FA035 ADRIATIC but is very stable, almost one restart in a month. I defragment my card when there is need to so it doesn't slow down or cause the phone to restart more often.

How do you exactly defragment the phone? Can i get that new firmware or any other that solves the problem?

Defragment only when there is need, that means if you have copied and deleted many files. Otherwise, there is no need to defragment on regular basis.

Defragmentation didn't help at all. Just tell me if it's possible to put the firmware of any other phone onto mine? Maybe k850i or something?
Then can this be a hardware fault?
