Hi Friends,

New Firmware for Sony Ericsson K810i Cyber-shot phone has been released. According to :-

The firmware version is R8BF003. Same thing is also available at Wotan:-

I have current firmware R8BA024 installed and after this 3 versions R8BC004, R8BE001, R8BF003 have been released.

I tried to update my phone from the latest software of Sony Ericsson Update Service.

It still says that i have the current version installed

Can you please tell me why it is happening ?

Are you able to download the latest firmware ?

I think R8BF003 has been an old firmware, it almost one year ago, but its the lastest for k810.
You can download it a seusers or top sony and flash it manually using far manager.

Yes R8BA is an old version which infact i updated it through SEUS. If i use any other flashing app then it might void the warrenty coz it won't be the official one. Is that true ?

Yupz, just seus legal software.
But, if i've the problems with my phone, i always reflashing the software using far or a2uploader before bring it to sesc, and the fact my warranty still valid

Well i went to SEUsers site. My phone has K810_R8BA024_FS_S_ASIA_LEVAN firmware and the newer one is Generic. I guess SEUS does not have any update for ASIA_LEVAN firmware. What would be available in Generic one if i update and can i get a change log about the latest firmware ?
