anyone know how to change the model info with A2uploader on the c905?
I want to change the model to C905a.. its currently c905

1) Open notepad
2) Paste this code:

right name in here

3) Save it as "customize_upgrade.xml"
4) Start A2 Uploader, File system
5) Browse to tpa/preset/custom, and copy the saved file here.
6) Close A2 Uploader
7) Start phone

yeah, that's it. you just need to change that. after you upload the file as customize_upgrade.xml the customize.xml will get edited. hence the phone will read it as c905.

I advice you to NOT mess up with that kind of stuffs...
There is a reason why this phone is named C905 and C905a.
The C905a is only released in asia.
It has the same features, so don't worry about this little a.....

I am trying to get AT&T CV video to work, and for this to work the model name needs to be C905A

C905 is HSDPA 2100 only.
C905a is HSDPA 850/1900/2100.
Be careful with this.

So you may have to change the CDA or reflash, but if frequency bands are different you might end up with a dead phone or low signal.
