My cousin has a SE-w395 and complains me that the SMS memory is 70 sms in the Inbox.
Is it so limited ?
Any way to increase the storage ??
Is w395 db2020 or other ? hope flashing is possible !

Yes, thats the limit. W395 is a Sagem so modding is impossible and you can't flash with free tools.

That is unbelievable. Even 4 year older SE model
K750i had more than of 200 msgz capacity.
Isn't W395 an A2 phone? If yes then it should have unlimited storage for msgs depending on free memory.
And by the way what is meant by
Sagem??

Delete some files in your phone memory would be usefull to gain extra space.

Does that apply to SMS ?
I wonder if it really is possible. I mean, the mobile has a 1Gb M2 card and the phone memory seems to have around 9Mb or so (not so sure) Free space.

Yes That applies but only if you've got some A2 phone. (talking only about Java SE mobiles). Other models have fixed messages storage... so deleting or emptying the memory will not increase your sms capacity.

Ive never heard of sagem before. So does that mean SE hires another phone manufacturing company to make their phones, and then just branding it as sony ericsson? Am i right? Or wrong? I own a W395 too, and it has a small msg capacity and i hate the fact that it cant download files over 1.4 mb.
