I don't understand why people still have mp3 players when phones will do just as good a job and save you carrying around another device. Allow you to bluetooth tracks. Save you buying another device.

Its all down to the individual and for me i prefer my dedicated mp3 player because it just will always sound better than any phone. the reason is because the quality is concentrated just on one thing rather multiple features in a phone. also its like phone cameras they will never be as good as a dedicated camera. my mp3 player is a Sony and it sounds far better than any phone or SonyEricsson phone i ever had.

Definetly my phone! My N81 and my Sennheisers have been an excellent combo, add to the fact that the app PowerMP3 seems to take full advantage of the audio chip, ive never needed a dedicated audio player since my W800. Love the fact that im able to download music, edit their id3tags,album art etc. . .right here on my phone without having to deal with a PC, also the fact that my phone keeps up with my favourite music,has the touch sensetive navi wheel, fast scroll and search artist/album/song tool with the keypad, music keys etc. . . just makes it all very fast and easy to use. Why would i limit myself to a stand alone player?

I believe its easier to make a phone that can replace a stand alone player than a phone that can replace a stand alone camera since theres much less hardware to deal with, maybe im wrong but i will never go back to stand alone players.

I've had it for 3 years and the only competition I can see it having is another iPod. I'd only replace it for a 64GB Touch.

I dont have an mp3 player only my phone. I have a 8gb sd in my phone and that stores more than enough music for me. Cant be bothered to carry around 2 things when 1 does the job.

Ever since I got my W810, I've not used a standalone mp3 player. It's too much trouble carrying so many devices around. I'm currently using my T700 with my DS205+HPM77 and I think they sound better than my Sony NW-A806. I switched to the latter for a while but found my T700 to be better.
