Google Maps Mobile wap site says that my Sony Ericsson K810i phone is not supported to download Google Maps. Has Google stopped supporting Java phones ? Version 2.3.2 was compatible to my phone. What happened ? Please check it with your phone also.

says the same on my W890 right now
I'd suggest its an intermittent glitch, perhaps they're in the process of providing a new version?

No. I have old Google Maps working. I advice all people to save .jar file to your pc etc. coz Google has stopped support for non smartphones. When Java version is compatible to all platforms; Google is wasting money and time to support each and every smartphone platform.

In c905 I have google maps 3.0 so google didn't stopped supporting java. Maybe they have some problems?
I checked and had no problem with installation of version 2.3.2
Google send me a direct link on my phone number.
