> HPM 70, 75, 85, and 82 or 83 question
Bookmark topic
My friend said he doesn't need the HPM 70, 75, 85, and 82 or 83 (he's not sure what he has) and he says he'll give them to me. I already own a HPM 64 and HPM 70 and I prefer the HPM 64. Out of the HPM headphones that my friend has, which one should I take?
I saw the HPM83 so if he does indeed have that one, I'm not taking that because I don't like big headhones. I also read that the HPM 70 and 75 are the same, so if they are indeed the same, I won't be taking those either. That'd leave me with the HPM 85 and HPM 82, if he does indeed own them.

Hpm-85 is HPM-82 with a large head phones which equates to better soundquality. so 85 is better

I have most of them and definitely recommend HPM-85. Even it surpassed against HPM-77 and HPM-88

I have the HPM-85 and their sound is terrible, this headphones feel too light and cheap and the sound is really bad,any inear headphones sound better! I have used the HPM-85 only on the day I bought them.
The HPM-82 is like 70 or 75 (but it comes with the same remote control on the wire that you get with the HPM-85)
from all the headphones I would take the HPM-82,their sound is good and the remote control is very handy.
The remote works on my P1i also with the fm radio.and you can swich between radio and walkman without taking the phone out of your pocket
for sale HPM-85

Err... Currently I hold HPM-64, HPM-77, HPM-82 and HPM-85... HPM-85 is the best...
2 possibility:
1. Fake product? I have managed to buy fake one, too... I buy original at US$40 and fake one at US$20...
2. Not burned in... It had too much bass and narrow soundstage when I buy it at first... I burned it out for about 100hours before getting a natural sound with wider soundstage... But even if it not burned in, it's still better than HPM-77...

The HPM-85 may be wonderful headphones for someone that does not know anything better
headphones that cost 20-40$ can not sound like ones that cost 180€ (in Holland 160 usa) forget it!
i also have here the HPM-64,65,70,75,77,88... and sony MDR-EX71SL and MDR-EX90 (not on the picture)

Wrong. Lots of headphones that are cheaper but sound much better than Bose headphones.
And I'm not an audiophile. I'm probably going to get the headphones for free, so I'm not complaining.

Went to my friend's house and he was going to give me all his headphones, but I took only the HPM-82. At least I think it's the HPM-82. The bottom part has the remote to control my songs, but the earbuds look a lot like HPM-70 earbuds to me...
I didn't choose the HPM-75 because as you guys said, it's the same as HPM-70. Is the HPM-82 the same as well?
Edit: HPM-82 makes terrible connection with my phone...

Comparing the headset part of the HPM-70 that I own with the one that I got with my friend's HPM-82, which I believe he swapped with a HPM-70, the sound quality between the two of them are huge and I honestly can't tell which is better...
