Having a little bit of trouble getting the o2 MMS pay and go settings for the Sony Ericsson Satio to work and o2 don't as yet have anything to tell me what they should be.

is there another forum member here on o2 pay and go that has a Satio that can tell me what they are?

o2 Mobile internet settings I have got working, they are pretty straight forward as all other handsets.

The mobile internet settings I found were easy unlike the MMS for o2 pay and go

Go to Settings and then connectivity and then Destinations and choose WAP service and make a new access point with the following info

*Connection name: payandgo
*Data bearer: Paket Data
*Access point name: payandgo.o2.co.uk
*username: payandgo
*Prompt password: no
*Password: password
*Authentication: Secure
*Homepage: http://www.o2.co.uk
*Use access point: Automatically

Then hit options and go to Advance settings and look there making sure you have the following

*Network type: IPV4
*Phone IP address: Automatic
*DNS address: Automatic
*Proxy server address: None
*Proxy port number: 0

Then try to go on a website once your tap to connect your notice with the Satio it may ask you to choose which connection to use, choose WAP services and then your on the mobile web.

I've set up my Satio to use o2's pay and go mobile web and also I'm using my own WiFi network.

Still though we need to know how to configure the MMS settings and if anyone knows please put them up for o2 pay and go.

o2 don't have the settings for the Satio yet

Which also means Sony Ericsson doesn't have them thats why you can't download them from within the handset function of downloading the settings and also why I'm having to try and do it all manually like others.

I asked the same question, when called them asking and also emailed heres the responce

[quote]Thank you for your query regarding setting up MMS on your Sony Ericsson Satio.

Due to the settings being network specific the only thing that we would be able to advise would be to contact O2 with regards to obtaining your MMS settings.

Absolute morons they are, you would think Sony Ericsson would make sure handsets are 'compatible' with UK networks before releasing handsets like the Satio and Anio which no UK network has settings for yet.

You didn't see the Apple iphone released to the UK market without settings being available for it.

This is something that's really annoying me and by the looks the only thing people can do who have bought the Satio or Anio can do is try configure the settings manually.

Toney_Ericsson did it bring an error message though? because normally the settings are sent anyway, does not matter what handset you are using. I know your handset will be supported on o2 soon as its in the magazine in the o2 shop.
