Just made my first call with the Satio and the sound quality is quite iffy. My W960 sound quality was excellent, so disappointed with this aspect.
Anyone else experienced this?

Mine is fine. Seems better than my c905 and the ear piece dont vibrate when someone talks.

Is it muffled or distorted or what? Be more specific. I have had a few recent SonyEricsson phones with poor reception or call quality. Could it be your network? Is it poor coverage? Just trying to cover any answers.

It's the same as the sound quality of the C905 or any other Sony Ericsson I own. I've asked other people when on the phone is the sound any different and they have all said they can't notice any difference.

If i use the satio up to my face apparently i now sound like i have a cold. I've not had the same comments when I'm on the headset.
Oh and I had a comment about 'clicking' when I was just moving fingers around, getting a better grip on the unit.

Sometimes it can be your network. Some networks have better call clarity than others imo

I initially had a problem with my alpine bluetooth car kit the person I was calling could here me fine but they sounded all muffled.
Further investigation revealed if I turn the volume down on the handset and use the volume on the car kit, it's crystal clear both ends.
