I really don't know,it just says connecting then makes a beep when it fails. When it first happened yesterday I did everything restart everything but nothing happened till I put my sister's sim in, which is on another network, then it could make a call. So I put my sim back in and it could too. A while later I couldn't again. Then suddenly I could again but then a few seconds into a call it just cut.
For a while now there's been a newer firmware but since my phone was stable I didn't bother. Anyways today I figured maybe the update would fix it. Well after a tense time, my first time and like many SEs the fastport is twitchy, I successfully updated. So I thought it was fixed but no, its not working again. The thing is, I can access the internet but not do calls or texts.
Any idea what's wrong? Is service the only solution?

Thank you hihihans. Actually its now working pretty fine. No idea why.
Now if I could just find the version of Gmail I was using. I found a 2.0 and a 1.5 and both either don't work or don't work well.
