Hey guys... This is a tough one!
I dropped my Sony Ericsson W910i cell from a considerable height
and within twelve hours, the cell switched off on it's own..It became hot, specially on the upper back part... I tried starting it again but just the red light on the back showed up and again it didn't start... I realised its not the problem of the battery as I tried a battery on it... it didn't start.. I tried this cell's battery on other W910i, it started which clearly says it's not the problem with battery... When I gave it to repair the man said that there was shorting, he removed it... He claims the phone's working but display light is not turning up... He himself hasn't detected what the problem with the phone is... I am helpless... Any desirable comment or ideas will be appreciated... Cheers!!

Now that the piece has been repaired, it's display is on, but the light required for it isn't on, such that I can't decipher what's happening on the screen... I used a torch light and it's helping me a little... All possible alternatives have been tried... Kindly help...
