Hi,
I am desperately after a Sony Ericsson candy bar type (not slide/flip) phone for my dad. He want's to stick with SE and currently has the W810. I have seen a few phones but all have a flash not a LED torch function. Can anyone suggest a phone model that I can pick up new or used? I am considering getting another W810 if I have to but this is the third phone and the bottom charger contacts wear quickly.

Thanks

The following Sony Ericsson phones have a torch light function:
C702
C510
T700

Note: This list is not extensive...

Hi

The k550 and w610 have torch.

@lightspeed: the c510 just can have the torch when recording vids or in dark places the camera turns it on automatically.

Cant you enable it via a customize_upgrade?

Sorry, seen as the C702 and the C510 share the same camera module, i took it for granted...

I've not tried it, but it doesn't even have the torch function as the c702.

I see, so that leaves just the T700 and the C702 then...

Get the T700, it's a solid phone. I've used a W810 before and loved it, so I know what I'm talking about. I'll think twice about giving up my T700 for any other new phone, that's how much I love it. One suggestion regarding the loose fastport contacts, get the CBC-100 and a spare battery as I have done. It's more convenient and you don't have to fret over the loose contacts anymore.
