as the title says..
does any one knows how to get rid of d annoying "purple fringes" on k850i...??
its really a problem know as i have to take photos @ daytime and that too in the noon time..
so if i take a pic f a tree with sky as background d prob comes. If u look closely.. near the leaves are the dirty
purple colour...(the area where the leaf blends with the sky.)
So if anyone has faced dis prob, or has a fix for this please post it...
thanks

try using different cam driver original or modded, if the purple fringes still occurs than the one you are using are corrupted. reinstall will do the trick...

The purple fringe is present in almost all pictures involving leaves (or wires) against the sky, no matter what driver I used. For me, the only effective method to remove it is the post-processing of the pictures on a computer... I couldn't find any "in-phone" solution.

We won't, unless you provide a hint or suggestion...

Err, I think it has something to do with low quality lens of K850i.

get your k850,find a strong light, neon or something, turn your k850 so that the lens cover/plastic is facing the light, when you look at it from different angles, you will see a lot of colors, not just purple,yellow,green,...so it probably depends in which conditions you take pictures. And the colors in the lens cover are probably because SE wanted to make something cheap...bad for us,good for them...that's why I sold my k850 and went back to my good & reliable k800!
Let's face it,i loved everything about k850,but because of the budget cuts, and because they put it on market so fast (it's because they wanted to beat the N95),without testing it properly, when you buy a k850,you don't buy just a phone, you buy a great adventure!

Is this what you mean? Pick some cam drivers for K850 you like.

In case instructions are not included try this topic.

experiments with drivers are meaningless in case of hardware & physics issues. what to do? say 'hello' to image post-processing on PC
