My mom just bought a Tocco ULTRA (She asked for GPS.. Thats what phone company gave her.. sigh..)
Anyway I have an SE W995 and my mom wants to trade since she doesint get along with the touch screen (long nails)
She says that the phone unlocks by itself and the home page icons are messed up. I dont get that when I use it though.

So should I trade with her? or not?

Thanks.

No dont do it you shall regret it. The Sony Ericsson is much better. That Samsung model from what i have read people have complained about poor usability due to awkward texting with no back button. The combination of keypad and touch Samsung got it all wrong and its awkward to use. Plus people have complained of very very bad lag with this model in menus and file management too. Also poor battery life and very bad sound quality with music. Try it out for yourself see if you will like it. Just ask your mom first if you can try it for a day or so. Trust me you shall miss the Sony Ericsson.

well i would pick samsung s8300 ultratouch because of amoled touchscreen and that it is the best non smart phone camera on the market and by far one of the best D1 video capture but it does lack wifi and gps is only assisted gps

but you must have one important thing in mind and thats update service. samsung have issues with this and sony ericsson doesnt. they have long life and experience with update services.
