> Recommend me a Laptop, £400 tops

As the title says, could someone recommend me a laptop for the top price of £400. The mother in law is buying it for my daughter for christmas, and she will use it for homework and the internet. It must have wireless built in.

unreccomend Advent laptop's or desktop's my step-dad is on his THRID plus 2 repairs. He paid £550 last year

the current offers on dells inspiron 15. Better move quick though
Right now I wouldn't worry about hardware, anything with 2gb and a Pentium D will run 7 fine in my experiences.

don't go for dell.
it has a lot of issues.
