> wired headset at bottom of p800?

anyone knows any thing about the wired headset socket at the left bottom of the p800? what is it? any equipment to use with it?

What's weird about it? It's a standard Ericsson headset connector. Can use all existing headsets by Ericsson. And the new stereo FM radio. Have you ever owned an Ericsson phone before?

thanks for the info. i used nokias series 6, 7110 and all the 9 series of nokia and had brief periods with r520 and panosonic gd75 and gd 88. now i still use 9210 as my main phone and use p800 only as backup due to its less powerful speakerphone and ocaasioned microphone bug (but i love its camera and picture and jotter functions). thank agin for the info. by the way i meaned and wrote WIRED;not the word used by you.
