> W890 orange light of death?

Hi, had to fire up my trusty old K800 today as my W890 has contracted the iPhone coma mode!! It worked fine yesterday, was fine when I went bed last night, placed it on my bedside desk and this morning its dead as a post! I have tried removing/replacing the battery but that doest help, When I plug it into a charger the orange light on the side illuminates and nothing else.
Is it terminal?? not had time to try a SW flash yet but any ideas in the meantime are appreciated!
