Is it possible to hide private records (contacts and calender entries) using password similar to palm PDAs? I need this facility very badly. Thks.

u cant but u can use screensaver device lock. look for it at control panel- display. This message was posted from a P800

Im surprised as the ability to hide certain contacts/calender inputs are a basic PDA functions .. . . . hope SE will include this in their next software upgrade.

I don't know if you mean the "Private" check box on each contact that hides that contact/calendar entry from being synced or beamed by accident.

If you mean hidden from view when someone is physically handling your phone... well.. you can't do that yet. There is an app called Handy Safe where you can store all your sensitive info though.

Yet another function SE left out. ARE THEY NEW BEGINNERS? Havent one of the programers used a PDA or modern mobile phone before they wrote the software to the P800? Its so many basic funktions on the P800 that they left out...

Handy Safe is great for storing bank & creditcards, bank accounts, codes, passwords etc. Nut if you wanna hide contacts, calendar info, to-dos and tasks, Handy Safe isnt that good...
