Hello,

I need to get a new screen for my K810i. I'm considering buying a faulty phone off eBay and using it for parts (need a battery and some other bits and pieces too).

I was under the impression that the K800i and k810i are basically the same phone internally. Is that correct? Would a screen from a K800i work attached to a K810i board?

I noticed that some screens for the K800i on eBay don't mention K810i and I emailed a seller (in Hong Kong) to see if it was compatible and they just replied "NO" - very helpful!

Both phones are very similar hardware wise. You can even flash a k800 to k810 and it'll work fine. So I guess the k800's lcd will fit fine on the k810.

Although I think you'd need to upload the k800's display driver to the k810.

And here's someone who used a k510 lcd on a w200: W200 Screen exchange with K510 //finally successful...
