Hello

By an accident I just bought a seccond hand SonyEricsson K810i with activated phone lock code. This is a personal security code that you can make at your phone so that no others can use it if it is stolen etc, and not this gsm operator lock code.

I just contacted the seller and he don't know that phone and doesn't seem to remember from who he bought it so he don't seem to be able to provide that code for me.

Do anyone in this forum know a trick how to overwrite / shortcut that telephone code? Or do I have to degrade this phone to spare parts?

I deal a little with seccond hand mobile phones (hobby) but normally I don't receive phones with phone lock code activated. And I try to avoid buying stolen phones.

I would be happy if someone could answer me!

Hi and welcome

With XS++ v3.1 you can check the code and even reset it to the default(0000).

Check this thread: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=156090

And in the last 3 pages you will see how to find it out.

Another way is with setool 2 lite.
