Storm force winds upto 80mph are currently battering the south coast of Britain. Last night and for much of today winds have reached 80mph on the coast and 50 to 60mph inland. Damage has been reported with trees coming down to people being trapped in cars on the coast in Wales along with 60mm of rain. Your typical British weather day has anyone here experienced anything bad by them?

Storm reached Holland. The wind is blowing around my house, and inside. NonIsolated house build in 1927. I've got a huge gasbill every month.

Oh no mate hope it passes ok your very low lying there It makes you feel cosy in your bed at night when you hear the wind and rain outside. And lucky you have a roof over your head too. Is gas expensive in Holland then?

Yep, nice and warm listening to the rain. Gasprice in Holland is attached to the oilprice, so we pay way to much for something that we have plenty of deep down in the earth here.
