Highly unlikely but the New Zealand All Whites football team has booked itself a place in the World Cup with a 1-0 win over Bahrain in Wellington last night. This is only the second time for NZ, the last being 1982 in Spain.
Celebration

Goal

Who else is through to the World Cup? Celebrate your team here!

No one is responding I bet you were shocked with your football team getting qualified. New Zealand is normally better at rugby

Well after a 0-0 away draw in Bahrain, we felt the All Whites had a good chance of winning but you can never be sure until it happens. I remember the first time the All whites went to the World Cup in 1982.

My parents were at one of New Zealand's matches in Spain in 1982. So it's been quite a big thing for them for NZ to get in again. I wonder whether they'll pay South Africa a visit...

@Bono
Is it really less important if you fail to qualify, because it is only a game???????
Aren't games the main part of our lives?
And is football really a game nowadays?

Ireland were cheated last night from Henry's blatant handball totally disgusting. Ireland play with passion and they never have any luck now this happens. Henry even admitted the handball but he says it was not an accident. Rubbish you can see in the reply he pushes the ball with his hand. Twice.
