Would really appriciate help on this, I got the IR add on for my motherboard Asus A7V266 and it's installed correctly, ie recognised in windows i set the data rate to 9600 because it didn't seem to be seeing my phone, I definatley had IR "on".
What im after is some kind of data suite which works via IR, which I can upload and D/L images and ring tones and themes on etc. I've been using WAP via esato to do this but now that I have the IR it would be really convienient.
I can't seem to find a data suite for PC which does IR anywhere I found one which used USB but that's not to helpful.
Thanks in advance.

This might sound really stupid, and PLEASE don't take it the wrong way but...
On your phone, have you turned the on "Received Item" option from the Connect icon on the desktop? When you select that option a popup comes up saying something like "Ready to receive via Infra Red and Bluetooth"

I hadn't given that a go, but I don't know how to send something from windows XP to my phone anyway. I would need somekind of data suite for that wouldn't I, if you could tell me where to get one that would be sweet.
What I think is supposed to happen is, on my T68i i turn the IR port on in connect menu line it up with my IR module from my mobo, then see some icon appear on my desktop/taskbar which will mean it see's the phone..............thats not happening? Am i doing the right thing?
I apologise for this being the repeat of about 10000 threads, thanks heaps for your time.

When everything is set up right and im sure the problem is on the fone not ur pc, an icon appears on the taskbar and a bubble says t68i in the area click here to send files, so you dont really need a data suite. Is that any help?
