I am having trouble selecting the ringtone I want to ring.

I have changed it in the Settings>Sounds&Alerts>RingSignals Menu (both on line 1 & 2).

I have made sure that it is the selected tone in the profile I am using.

I have even gone to the contact and specified the ring for that person.

After all this, I am still getting a ring tone that I cant find in the phone ringing and not the one I want.

This is becoming frustrating, have I made a stupid mistake somewhere?

I heard that some firmware versions cant handle tones with include no sound. If your using one of those walk-a-phone or helicopter type tones, maybe that is your problem! Try using a different ringtone see if the problem persist and maybe consider a firmware upgrade.
