Remove the battery. Remove the 2 phillips screws that hold the back cover on. Lift the back cover off making sure the camera cover is in the closed position. Remove the 4 T6 Torx screws in each corner. Carefully lift off the centre section making sure you don't catch any of the side buttons as they are very fragile. Also when you have enough room. Unclip the 2 circuit boards holding the memory card cover cable between them. You can now completely remove the rear and middle section. Just work your way round the boards uncliping sections at a time. Takes about half an hour to completely dissassemble the phone.

Do you mean that when you open the camera lens cover. It doesn't start the camera ? If thats the case. It will be the small switch that has broken. It cannot be replaced on its own. You have to replace the whole flash circuit ribbon. This includes the camera on/off switch, xenon flash unit and the capacitors (2 battery shaped items). There is no other way to do it. The ribbon is just plugged onto the main circuit board and is lightly glued in place's. Very easy to remove if you take your time and are careful. You will find a good quality replacement part at www.cnn.cn and at a good price as well.

Could you take a picture of the part that is broken ? It may help. If its the very small grey black arm that has come off from behind the camera lens then it cannot be put back on. If it the camera button that you press to take a picture then yes it might be fixable. Also there is no way you can replace the joystick with a d pad.
