> How do I find out if my SIM is 3G capable?
Bookmark topic
I've recently picked up a new handset and it's got a few 3G features I'd like to use.
How do I go about finding out if my SIM card is a 3G card?
If I switch on the Browser I get an "E" (Edge?) icon on the screen but I don't think I've seen a "3G"/"G" yet.
The SIM card simply has an O2 logo on it and the usual numbers, no mention of 3G.
Anyone got any idea's?
(If I go out an get an o2 3G card can I transfer my number to it?)
Thanks.

No they aren't!
There are 2 size of SIM, the standard size is mini SIM but there's also an old school size that was the same size as a credit card.

No I mean't you probably have a 2G sim not a large sim. If your sim is quite old its 2G but they come 3G as standard now on all networks except the ever awkward Orange who do not always provide 3G sims as standard
