@guys
has anyone tried this? any comments on the service when you are enrolled?
What iv read,you can use your prepaid smart sim on any blackberry device and enroll it to get the service book settings ota. no need for a post paid plan. the plans are quite steep: php50/day and php300/7 days. Benefits:unlimited push mail, im, n surfing. the major hassle is when you are going to renew. deducted ung load w/o geting again service books setings. tnx

Problemado ka pa rin ba sa blackberry mo, pnp. How about dalhin mo sa smart or Globe then pa configure mo. Wala naman bayad e, then tanong mo what they did. Wag mo nga lang sabihin na gagamitin mo sa ubt.

@pnp
tama si absolute_toph. walang manual config ang bb. service books settings always over the air(ota). thats what makes bb unique. have it open lined first. try gh or search ebay.may unlocking bb using the imei of your phone with a fee of course.
@toph
dumaan din ako before sa vintage 6720 and colored 7100t.update us pag natry mo na si smart bis(blackberry internet system). many thanks.

sabi sa 'kin ng isang Smart Customer Service Representative sa Gateway Mall, ganito ang format ng pag-subscribe:
text the following:
Quote:
BB DAY
for one day or
Quote:
BB WEEK
for one week and send to:
Quote:
BB0P (2207)
then you will receive your Service Book..
@Ke let me explain this to you.. BlackBerry devices (BB para cute) are designed for E-mail.. okay, mayroon ding e-mail client ang

at Nokia but it has limited features than BB.. isa pang con, seldom lang ang mga taong gumagamit ng e-mail sa cell phone.. totoo 'yun.. pero dinisenyo ito para sa mga professionals dati na laging "on-the-go"..
sana nga, magmura ang BB services dito sa PH.. sa Indonesia daw, mas mura ito.. kasi ito ang utilized.. dito sa PH, SMS ang ginagamit.. did you get me par?! hope you understand.. ^_^

i called customer care too a while back and asked about this. the call center representative told me to call another number as anything related to blackberry should call the postpaid hotline. i told her that this isn’t about postpaid. and this is for smart buddy. apparently, she is unfamiliar with this new blackberry prepaid service. she asked to put me on hold for 2-3 mins. then when she got back to me, she said,
CSR: are you still on the line?
ME: yes..
CSR: are you still on the line?
ME: yes, yes..
CSR: sorry, i hear no response. goodbye.
I was like WHAT? I know she can hear me. hindi nya siguro alam kung anong sasabihin nya. what’s happening smart?
