Hi!

I have an LG W2453TQ monitor and I am not sure how to use the Digitial Signal DVI cable.

I connected both cables to PC and monitor, but not sure how to use! The manual on the CD is next to useless!

Off to do a search but any advice welcomed!

Hi jcwhite_uk!

I can select this...

but when I select 'digital' the monitor goes into a 'digital energy saving mode', and stays like that.

I cannot think of what this cable and mode are actually used for!

only connect the dvi cable and it should just work. DVI is better than VGA quality slightly, you might not notice it, but it is better

I am watching a DVD now, and, did as you said, and the difference is really pleasing!
