> iphone orange data limit ?
Bookmark topic
Hey,
Looking to get an iphone and would go for it on o2 but my student house has awful o2 signal, like half a bar in certain places which is really annoying, only got about another 5 months in the student house tho.
Basically is the orange data limit of 750mb enough, i guess I will use my iphone quite a lot for the internet, emails, youtube etc as many of my lectures are incredibly boring
So will this be enough or do I just go for o2 and put up with crap signal in my house for 5 months
Any help appreciated

if you weren't streaming I'd say 750mb fair use was enough, but streaming really does suck up the data.
I moved my iphone to tmob a couple of weeks ago. they have 1gb fair use and I'm told by tmob that I have already used nearly 700mb!
btw, if you're measuring the o2 reception at your student house on a phone other than iphone, be prepared that the iphone does generally have a little less reception than most in poor reception areas

it may be okay. Heard that orange dont charge you if you go over but if you do reguarlarly then they can make you move contract

Hang on, maybe ive misunderstood, but if you're downloading apps via wi-fi, why not just browse the internet via wi-fi also ? or are you using mobile broadband rather than fixed broadband ?
