One of my mates from work has just brought a T300 and I was trying to transfer pictures through the Inferred port but it always come up with "can not find" message. I've just tested my inferred port though the link I got with my computer and its fine.

Also MMS messengers don't seem to get through and we are on the same network 02 UK.

Make sure that the receiving phone has infrared switched on first.

Call O2 and make sure that your SIMs are enabled to send and receive MMS.

It seems like one of the infrared port( T68i/T300 in ur case) is not working, else when u align those to IR ports and send from one mobile to the either...it will be easily detected

MMS is not required to infra red stuff between a T300 and a T68i. Just make sure IR is switched on for the receiving unit, the sending unit will auto switch on when you choose IR as the send method.

I have done this quite a few times between my sons T300 and my T68i so it definitly works.

For the phone that is to receive the background image via infra see: On the standby screen, where you can see your wallpaper, press the option button, the button above the 1 key, and select receive item. It will popup with a window saying something like "ready to receive via infra and and bluetooth". Then on the other phone you can now safely send it, making sure you line up both phones' infra red ports.
