Hi,
After 5 years and about 10phones I'm feed up with

, their latest phones just don't work. I started out with a t630 back in 2003 and ended up with a C905 today, going though roughly all the top end camera phones, loveing them all up till the K800, then it all went bad. The K850 all acting up never working, changeing to a C905 which never had a working ear piece as long as I used it. Again, great camera, awsome with buildt in GPS and I love the speed of the GUI which has always been flaw less in my mind.

makes great cameras which I really like, the xenon-flash is a must for me, and I'm also getting addicted to the GPS...
...but as both k850 and C905 are not working, suffering from hardware failure that apparently not are getting fixed by

I'm not willing to spend money on the Satio. So thinking of trying the Samsung m8910 pixon 12. Generally I don't like touch phones, but never really tried one out. So I need your help, how is the TouchWiz in the m8910 compared to UIQ? ofcause other layout and so but it is as fast or will I end up with another $800 "brick"?
thanks

Hi
I think you are confusing the
GUI with
UIQ.
If you have had

smartphones then you are talking about UIQ otherwise you mean the GUI.

As my C905 never really worked and the quality of is is very bad I did buy a Samsung Pixon 12. And I have nothing bad to say about it so far. Camera is as good, powerful xenon flash, video LED etc which works very well.
connecting it to the PC happens instant not with a minute wait as on the Ericsson line of phones. So far I don't miss any features, they are all there and the biggest plus is that it's possible to make calls and finally hear what the caller says...
so no regrets leaving Ericsson for me, I would recommend anyone the same swap!

Well ofcause, two diffrent phones. C905 still has the better camera

(I found that the Pixon overexponates when useing the flash

)
BTW, after exactly a year of owning a never working C905(ear piece keept failing after only i call or so)
I got refunded and got all my money back.

Touch Wizz UI is crap although I do think the Pixon 12 camera is the best.
