> Update a Satio Prototype?
Bookmark topic
Hi, I have a prototype Satio and, being a prototype, it's unable to be flashed to a newer firmware. It is also stuck on a Chinese firmware which I believe it disabling the wifi and 3g. Is there anyway to flash a prototype Satio besides getting EMMA3 (not happening

)? Any help is appreciated!

I think you will need a soldering iron and replace the PROM with the firmware with an EPROM so that you can replace the firmware.

I Know this is a bit off topic. Is there any chance of a Z:/ & C:/ Dump, as the early Satio's had a TV section in the Media menu.
Thanks in advance & I hope you get your device fixed!

It's really a tricky situation for the developers at SonyEricsson. If they hadn't released the Satio on time according to the plan, there would probably have been a petition to release the Satio and a horde of raged potential Satio buyers begging and crying for SonyEricsson to release the Satio before X-mas, or at least before the new year.
