How is the sound quality of the C510 media player? As in mp3's and such. I would be using premium headphones but I just wanted to know if it is decent.

The sound is fine. I'm using it with a HPM-70

MegaBass is great with HPM-70.
"C" series have same MegaBass like Walkman phones.

Since we can change the acoustics that's not a problem

good enough... im using an adapter with 3.5mm jack from my old w800i and using a sennheiser cx300 headset.. so far so good except its not that loud enough but nevertheless it can be compensated by setting the equaliser to megabass... I bought 2GB m2 card and so far so good as a backup mp3 player.
