Hi, I'm having some serious problems with my k800i. Whenever I try to access my contact list or messages by one of my particular contacts, I get a white screen of death, followed by a blank screen, then after about 20 seconds, the phone automatically refreshes my home screen (Without me pressing the power button, or having to enter my pin number again).

I also can't connect to the sony ericsson PC suite. I tried using the repair tool, sychronising, and backing up my phone to my PC, none of which worked.

I have tryed removing and refitting my battery, but this hasn't fixed it.

How can I go about fixing this without losing all my contacts, messages, and other files on phone memory?

(This isn't the problem where I get random WSOD...it only happens as described above)

Thanks alot

Hi, have you tried Resetting your settings? If you back up all your files + contacts to the memory card and sim card
then take the memory card out and go to Settings > Master Reset > Reset all

Thanks, I've moved most of my files, but can't find a way to move my contacts. These are the main things I need to keep, how can I do it?

They can be backed up to your SIM card (they might actually already be on this and not the phone memory) or back them up to the memory card go to Options> More > Advanced > Back up to m.card Then once you've solved the problem you go to Restore from m.card (obviously )

Hope this helps

Thanks, but I can't do that since everytime I access my contact list, I get a white screen, and my phone resets, so I'm unable to access that option. How can I check whether my contacts are on the phone or sim memory? I tried taking out the sim, but when I turn on my phone, I cant get the main menu, only choose to play a demo video.
