as technology progresses and we now have phones with 12mp cameras like the satio, is there a chance we could have the pic size limit increased to 2.5meg, some of my photos taken with the satio are like 2.1meg and it's a shame i have to edit them to post here

Yes we can. If SE add in their another FW less compression camdriver or if we could mod U1 than some modders will do a camdriver with lower compression level. I had pictures about 6Mb in my C905 with camdrive modded.
