I just got a new phone a w995, because my c905 had numerous problems numerous times, so o2 offered to give me a new different phone with my old simcard, so same number. today afew peeps have text me, so obviously its my number. and ive rang people fine and they have me. but tonight i just rang my mum, and its coming up as a different mobile number on her phone so i tested it on numerous people and everyone is getting the same number which isnt my number, and when people try to ring my number now, or text me, it doesnt come through unless they use the new number. how is this possible??

im going to do that now but i dont see how it could randomly say my number doesnt excist, and spring this random new one from nowhere. I wouldnt bother getting it. Ive looked up alot of reviews and it seems to have alot of the same problems the c905 did. And it doesnt even have the iplayer app. I rang o2 today and they was like.. Ummm it should do. go in a shop and theyll find it.

Wtf?!? im seriously considering leaving them.

No it sounds like O2 have not updated your new sim card properly. Their systems may not be upto date on replacement sim. Give them a call. I had a similar problem when my number was transfered from Orange to O2 once. The systems had not updated yet and my number was not showing when i pressed the volume keys in phone status. After O2 further updating it was fine.

Oh sorry i read wrong. Its an odd one but i would call customer service again and dont let them give you crap sometimes you get clueless ones on the phone. Get them to look into it and check your account and sim number in their systems. There must be something wrong.

I seriously dont think its the phone something is wrong on your sim in their systems showing wrong number. Your phone does not show your number its the sim

Its certainly not your phone thats having a problem. Its more likely a network fault on your account. They've probably been messing with your details and made a mistake somewhere.
