I just got my new Sony Ericsson Satio, and it seems that the original interface has been replaced with one customized interface made by vodafone, it's laggy and annoying, is there any way to restore the original satio interface?

Just go into settings, personal , themes , standby themes and select one of the other 5 themes there.

As you have now sorted out by changing standby theme, my Satio was with Vodafone but I have debranded and it as all the apps it should have had on if it was unbranded, so I suggest that you debrand, it also is now faster. search for davinci debranding, it only takes about 5 mins.
