Do I have to get a ir-apter or can I use cable like hpr-11?

Unfortunately you can only use either Bluetooth or IrDA to get pics from your phone to the PC. Cable connections do not allow stuff to be sent from the phone to the PC (but obviously data going the other way from PC to phone is fine)

guess this is false info, if you upload the pics to your phone you can send them using a IR adapter.

Actually, you can use both a bluetooth and infra-red. They cost about the same compared to a datacable but can do more.
