It would be so awesome to be able to use the xenon flash as a torch like other SE phones and I don't mind the battery dying down because in certain emergencies, a long duration of the xenon flash could be of great help.
Is there a possibility of accessing the flash to last longer via application?

the xenon flash can only give bursts.....its not capable of giving continous light...we can use the led light as a torch though...

You can't use the Xenon flash but you can activate the Video Light as a flashlight - just set the Satio to Video and turn the video light on.
Earlier SE phones had a flashlight (torch) option in the "Organiser" menu but even though this is shown on the website guide it is no longer present on the phone itself - video seems to be the only way.

Hey thanks for that tidbit, it would've been awesome to be able to have a xenon-powered torch but the "video light" works just as well as I was expecting. I guess the Satio is still full of suprises.
