Hey everyone,

My k850i just broke yesterday, and now I am in need of another phone. Right now I have my eyes on the c901, c902 and c905... except I am not sure which one to choose. I know in general c905 is packed with more features like wifi, but now I am wondering about the camera quality for all of these?

So far I have concluded that the c901 has the best camera quality... what does everyone else suggest?

I have all 3 and imo the C905 does have the better quality camera dispite its faults. C901 has focus problems but comes just above the C902 which is great for daytime shots. Only problems i've encountered with the C902 are to do with build quality. All 3 phones have unstable bluetooth connectivity for calling via a headset and using as a modem which is present in all A200 platform phones. Features are virtuall the same in each phone with a few exceptions eg. Wifi,flash type etc. Oh and the smart contrast feature is a complete waste of time as it doesn't work properly.

@Bonovox. Try making a call using a SE bluetooth headset for at least 40mins and you will see what I mean. The call will cut out at anytime upto 40mins without warning and after 1 minute the phone will display the connection lost prompt and also mute the phones mic. This was reported by myself and a few others back in 2007 and not just on the C902. Its on every A200 phone produced. Using an A200 phone as a bluetooth modem also has this problem where the bluetooth connection would randomally drop. This has been going on for a very long time and Sony Ericsson have known about it but not bothered fixing the problem.

Just have some experience with C901 and C902.
C902 have better build quality, loudspeaker, display than c901, and touchscreen in camera mode very usefull.

C901 have xenon flash, more faster, larger display, and according to me it have better camera than C902.

And if u're interesting in modding c902 better because support free permanent patching

thanks everyone, i think i narrowed it down to c905 and the c901. is the camera quality comparable in both? how does the 5MP stand up to the 8MP?

@Rookwise:

what other faults does the c905 have? since you have all 3 i am curious which phone you would choose overall? but i see you posted on ur c905 =P

I use my P1i for daily use and my C905,C901 are backup phones.C905 has a problem with the mic and earpiece cutting out.This is due to a fault with the ribbon that connects the 2 sections together.The ribbon sometimes comes out of its connector plug slightly which creates the fault.All's thats needed is the 2 ends reconnecting.C905 also has problems with the numberpad keys collapsing.This requires a new keypad membrane fitting.People have also mentioned wifi and gps issues although i've not experienced any.One of my C905's had the keypad issue 3 weeks after buying it wheras my older C905 has never had a problem.Only problems i've heard about in the C901 is the main screen sometimes has display issues, lens cover sometimes doesn't activate the camera and camera focus issues.All 4 of my C901s have the focus issue.C901's buttons are great for texting.C905's require a bit of pressure due to resistance.C902 has problems with the sim and memory card reader,battery cover,keypad buttons falling off,camera slide cover seizing up and causing scrape marks to inside of the phone.Personally i'd choose neither of the 3 phones again if I had the choice a second time and look at LG again or maybe even Nokia.
