I'm very confident that it WILL have a touch-screen.
I think it has a really cool design. Also it looks like it's using UIQ. That would mean that it's 100% compatible with P800 apps (if I'm not terribly wrong). The possibility to add a wireless LAN card to it is pretty neat too.

it's basically the same thing as the p800. same screen, same symbian 7.0. the differences are external: the camera rotates from front to back, it has a joystick, it's heavier, slimmer and taller.

after a quick look...
better: SD I/O instead of MS Duo
worse: 170g vs P800's 148g (without numpad)

It has a 65k color display opposed to the 4096 color display on the P800. It looks a little better than the P800 allround, however it is scheduled for release in Q4 2003 so you shouldn't wait for it if you want a P800 now.
But it's really cool that it will use UIQ, with more UIQ devices out there we will get shitloads of software!

It looks great - especially being a QUAD band phone (GSM triband and UMTS/W-CDMA 2100) - but I'll get the P800 anyways.
Just think about the battery life with a 65k screen and all the gizmos you might not need. SD I/O is really sweet, though!!
I bet it's going to be a shitload more expensive then the P800 when it's released...

Threegmobile.net comments that 65k color screen doesn't seem to make a huge difference with 4096 colors. But i need to see it to believe it. I like the design though, but won't it use keypads anymore?
Motorola's very aggressive right now in the cellular market. Any chance that the other Motorola models will be released in the Philippines? Phil. is the land of Nokia so market penetration is hard and i want people here to be more aware of other brands so that consumers would be more open minded.
