Hi,

I've got a C902, but it doens't seem to be able to connect to my pc anymore. The computer recognizes that something's there, but it says it's an unidentified device, without installed drivers. I tried reinstalling pc suite, but that doens't help. My phone still isn't recognized when I connect it with pc suite open.

Myself, I think the part of the phone with which you connect it to a USB cable/headphones/battery charger may be broken, as it also connects poorly to the battery charger (I have to make sure there's downward pressure on the cable, otherwise it won't connect :S).

Can anyone tell me how to install the drivers without connecting the phone?

Also, any ideas about how to fix the real issue (probably a damaged port as mentioned above) would be greatly apprectiated!

All of them, no succes. I also tried using a different cable, and with regards to the problem with the charger, a different charger. Nothing.

Well, try to take some sharp object and clean the corrosion accumulated in the golden contacts. A clean brush is also recommended.

are you just wanting it for putting music/pictures and other things onto the phone? if so i have an idea

Well i assume that's what you are doing, so this will solve your problem
Sony Ericsson CCR-70 M2 USB adaptor

I won one in Playtime and it's basically a USB memory stick which has a slot for your memory card,
all you do is take out phone's memory card, push it into slot and push Usb into computer, and you have all your files on memory stick right there!

Download: c902_usb_signed_drivers.zip

But you must connect phone with PC to install USB drivers.
