Hi. I have just bought a used SE k850i and are very disappointed! I had a k750i before and were expecting a much better camera. The photos taken with the k850i are just grainy, grey and blurry! And I know how to fix settings and so on, and I have the latest firmware installed and everything. This is a photo i took today.

And here is a photo I took with my K750..

Do you know why the camera on the K850i sucks?

The first picture looks like there is some fog on the glass or something. The second picture looks alright although there is a lot of noise in the sky. I don't know to be honest, my camera works okay, you could maybe try a moded camera driver many available.

Every cam needs to get used to. Take a few pics of the same object with different settings.

apparently you can get very good cam drivers for this phone with Shutters of up to 4 seconds

@adsada Yes, the k750i had a lot more noise on the higher parts of the photos. And on the first photo there is not much detail. You can't really see it unless you see the full resolution. Okey, I will try a different camera driver! Thanks for the tip!

@hihihans As I said, I know how to use the camera settings and all that stuff. I'm not a beginner with these things. I have already tried all possible settings, and the photo is coming out in bad quality all the time.

@mriley What do you mean "with Shutters of up to 4 seconds"?

i meant shutter speeds

, it looks like there was steam/condensation on the K850i lense and maybe it was because you were going from warm to cold and the lense got steamy

Sonyericcson staked very much on the first edition of k750 (both money and quality-controlls). they wanted to be the first phone-company with a good camera-phone......and so they did.
the camera (on k750) is "not" mass-produced (as many other cam-modules are)....ive got this fact from a SE employed several years ago (2005 something) when i bought my first K750 .

the good thing with K850 camera is its really fast.........(K750 camera is way slower).

K850 original firmware______________what can i say...great stuff

@plankgatan You do agree that something must be damaged/wrong with my camera, right? Look at the difference! And another problem I have, is under "poor" light conditions (poor: I'm standing in my living room with 3 large windows with all the daylight shining through) the camera is REALLY slow before I take the photo. When I'm aiming so to speak. Please.. someone tell me what the problem is! This is killing me
