If anyone needs to unlock there phone here in Las Vegas you can go to the Cingular store at the corner of Spring Mountain and Rainbow in the K-mart shopping center, It's only $35.00

For free? I thought you need to buy a special cable for like $15-20, then you need to purchse a 'log' or something for like $10-15, right? What about the time it takes to download, print and read the unlocking instructions? Of course, you always face the possiblity of messing up the process and disabling your phone when you try to do it yourself. IMO, $35 and 5 min of time seems like a good deal to have a phone professionally unlocked. Please correct me if I've missed something.

Unlocking can be done for free. T-mobile will provide an unlock code for you. BUt you have to have a t-mobile account or now somebody that does.
This is what is required.
A T-Mobile sim card is not needed to complete the procedure, but
you must have or have had a T-Mobile account in order for us to release the unlock code to you. Please re-submit your request with the following
information
Account holders name
T-Mobile account or mobile number (required - all requests
without this info will be denied)
Contact number or email address
IMEI number from the handset (press *#06# to get the IMEI)
Make and model of the phone
For Nokias, we need to know city and state of purchase and what
logo is on the face plate
If the phone is from another carrier, which carrier? (We cannot
provide unlock codes for carriers outside of the US or Canada)
A brief reason for the request
